The craziness of this summer has now past and we (Fire and Fragrance Harrisburg) are back in the swing of things.
The second week of September we went on the “God Is Not Dead Tour” where we went to four Ivy League Universities (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia), along with George Town University and a university nestled in the beauty of Maine! Over the 7 state tour we say many salvations (over 12) and healings. One of our team members led a Hindu to the Lord at Columbia University. We saw the Lord heal people who had been using canes for 17 years walk away pain and limp free. We saw so many people encounter the love of God in tangible, countenance changing ways.
One young man I talk to had never heard that with Jesus it isn’t about a religion of following rules and regulations, but it is about a Love relationship with Jesus who want to be friends. He was floored that God actually loved him and wanted to bring him joy and life on the inside. When I asked if he wanted love and joy on the inside of him, he said “I do want that . . . but I just need some time to think a little.” He then gave me a big hug and went to the class he was already late for.
Those are just a couple of at least 100 testimonies from our team of what God did through us during those 9 days. Please continue to pray that the Lord will invade the Universities of America with His joyful love!
Thank you for prayers and support!
Here is a little video of the amazing things the Lord did on the tour!
I had the privilege of speaking at Swamp Christian Fellowship this past August at both their traditional and contemporary services. The fellowship was founded 262 years ago in 1749! It was such an honor to serve under Pastor Craig Snow that sunday and minister to his congregation! Here is the sermon from the liturgical service–I hope you enjoy it and that the Lord blesses you and ministers to your through it.
When people think of Cambodia they think of a grief stricken war torn nation in eastern Asia crippled by genocide, and plagued with child sexual exploitation. But when Jesus looks down upon the little nation of Cambodia, nestled between Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, He sees a nation ripe for harvest. Jesus see a nation desperate for the Hope of the Kingdom—and it is indeed being released.
On August 18th the BURN 24-7 is sending a team of four, lovesick worshiper to partner and serve alongside our long term worker Stephanie Wheeler. For two weeks the five of us will be traveling through four cities in Cambodia releasing the fragrance of Christ and songs of life. Our team will be teaching a week at a Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School on worship and prayer. We will be praying over Angkor Wat–the largest religious building and Buddhist temple in the world, loving on the poor in slums, praying for AIDS victims, ministering to young girls and boys brought out of sex trafficking, and of course spend hours BURNING through the night as we joining in with the sound of Cambodia in the heavenlies preparing a way for the King.
Please be praying for our team from August 18th to September 2nd as we travel. Pray for divine health and safety. Pray the Lord would grant us boldness to step out of ourselves and be the hands and feet of Christ. And most of all—pray that the Lord would be glorified, the Word would run swiftly, and that the Spirit would have his way in the hearts of men, women, and children.
